Franko B è un artista che lavora sull’immagine, attivo anche nella performance. Nato a Milano, vive a Londra dal 1979. Ha realizzato molte mostre e performance, alla Tate Modern, all’ICA, alla South London Gallery e al PAC di Milano. Ha presentato il suo lavoro a Mosca, Ginevra, Zagabria, Città del Messico, Milano, Amsterdam, Anversa, Copenhagen, Madrid e Vienna. Sono state pubblicate quattro monografie sul suo lavoro e la più recente è I Still Love (FAM, Motta Editore, 2010). Dal 2009 è professore incaricato di scultura all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Macerata, ed è visiting lecturer presso il Royal College of Art di Londra e presso altre istituzioni internazionali. Vive e lavora a Londra.
Franko B is a visual artist who also works with performance. He was born in Milan and has lived in London since 1979. He has exhibited and performed widely, including at Tate Modern, ICA, South London Gallery and PAC, Milan, and has presented work internationally, in Moscow, Geneva, Zagreb, Mexico city, Milan, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Copenhagen, Madrid and Vienna. He has been the subject of four monographs, most recently, I Still Love (Ed. FAM, Motta Editore, 2010).
